Jaffa obsession, Warhol style

I seem to have a slight obsession with Jaffa. I’m not sure why – it’s just beautiful there and great to sketch.

So here is a mixed media piece, similar technique to my Jaffa Port piece, but showing the view from Tel Aviv. Anyone who has walked south on Tel Aviv beach will know this view.

I’ve purposely brightened the shades of the sky and sea to add a bit of vibrancy to the pastel shades, to differ it from the previous piece I did.  I’m not sure if it works, but it was a good experiment!

The above image hasn’t been edited so looks exactly like the original, but I decided to have a bit of fun on Photoshop and play about with the colours. Here is some Warhol inspired fun:
